My name is Mike Hardin. I am a proud St Louis native who grew up in the South County area. I am a 1991 Graduate of Mehlville Senior High School, 1994 graduate of Meramec Community College, and a 1995 graduate of Mineral Area College Police Academy in Park Hills, MO. Like most boys, I have spent my childhood and teen years playing sports – Jefferson Barracks Football, AAU Wresting, and baseball at the “good old” Heine Meine Fields. It was my sophomore year of high school when I decided to hang up the baseball cleats and concentrate on what I was good at rather than what I loved; contact sports! I began wrestling at the age of 10 and continued through my early 20’s, played football all four years at Mehlville, and yes I was even a proud member of the Mehlville High School marching, jazz, and concert bands. Still today, I enjoy jamming on my drum set! I was also an avid power lifter. In my mid-twenties, I lifted an all-time best of 1500lbs (squat, bench, deadlift). Just a few pounds short of a Missouri State record. My spare time today is spent with my wife, two kids, CrossFit, and coaching my son’s baseball team with the St. Louis Naturals.

I am now entering my 6th season as a youth baseball coach. The foundation of my teams have been built on: positive attitude, being a great teammate, you practice like you play, and without practice you will not play! My passion and love for the sport of baseball is unmatched. It’s my opinion, the sport of baseball is the greatest outdoor sport on the planet.
